Winter Hike

Things are nice and slow here at Bagdanoff Photo.  We are gearing up for the year and doing some remodeling in anticipation of our move out to Washougal.  In the mean-time, here are some pics from a hike we did out at Round Lake in Camas a couple weeks ago.  (And yes, in that 3rd image they are consulting their phones for trail map information.  Even in the middle of the woods the phones come out :) )

Best!

WooHoo!!!  Looky what we earned from OneWed.com!  A big thanks to all our awesome couples, you make us great!

Winter Love – revisited

Some warm, happy, and loving images from a cold and damp December day.  We just love it when our couples are willing to go out in the weather!

My Baby Sister…

…and her darling baby and her cute hubby are back in town for the holidays.  So OF COURSE I have to take them out back and shoot them…

Urban Family Fun

Last weekend we had a great time romping around the small city charm of downtown Gresham with this happy family.  I think we were all laughing at least 70% of the shoot!  After the cold snap it was great to have a nearly balmy day with almost no rain.  (You have got to love her shoe choice amid a family of boys…)

Winter Love

siw-december09-0023

Our final wedding of the year brought us to Issaquah, WA where we got to capture the joy and love between C&M, the adorable young couple from “Love and Laughter in Abundance“. Though it was cold and rainy outside, inside was full of friends and family who brought warmth and laughter to wish the newlyweds a happy and wonderful life together.

Wild Blue Yonder

I love that I have been able to capture this growing family’s life from their engagement portraits back in 2004, their wedding, the arrival of both boys, up to now: holiday portrait 2009.  We met at the adorable Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver and because this family is a little (ok, a lot) nuts for all things flying, we made a stop at the nearby public murals.

Holiday Smiles

Met up with one of my favorite couples for a sunny shoot in Downtown Vancouver to find the best smiles for their holiday cards.  Aren’t they just adorable?!

Rocket to the Moon

Friends and family gathered for a morning of smiles, great food, fun games and presents when this cute little guy turned 3 earlier this month.  The rocket/space theme was a big hit with the kids and grownups alike!

Family bonding in the rain

The rain had held off almost all day, just a few sprinkles here and there.  But we are Northwest shooters…sprinkles are no big deal.  When we met this great family at the portrait site the skies opened up and the rain poured down.  We did the first two images shown last, in the downpour, before racing back to the cars.  The rest of the images were shot creatively using ledges and balconies to keep our family dry (Mike and I got completely soaked though.)  Welcome to Fall in the Northwest!
