Unless we get a desperate call in the next few weeks, here are the final images from our final wedding of 2008. Late November, and yet the weather was perfect. We loved getting to run around the seriously cool/vintage downtown Corvallis and being creative with the gorgeous and easy-going L&R.
Now this is a unique reception…

A Wedding and Beavers and Ducks, Oh My! — revisited
Virginia in October
As was briefly mentioned in a previous post, I found myself in Virginia this October. The trip’s purpose was 3-fold: Guest shoot a wedding with Jenn Repp, visit my brother and his cute family, and drive the incomparable Skyline Drive (one more off my bucket list). Those three days of solitude in one of the...
A Wedding, and Beavers, and Ducks, Oh My!
Our last wedding of 2008 was the most original by far! A Beaver and a Duck fell in love and decided to get married with a Civil War theme. We headed down to Corvallis for their simple and lovely morning ceremony held at Bar 101. After some seriously fun portraits around the picturesque downtown we...
Wedding in the Sky – Revisited
We lucked out with gorgeous late October sun for M&W’s big day, here are some of my favorites:
Fall, In Love – Revisited
Gorgeous couple, gorgeous location…so what if it starts raining? We’ll still find the magic. Check it out:
Just Because
A&J have been married for six years and when they decided it was time for updated portraits they came to us! Aren’t they just a gorgeous couple?! I knew I wanted to throw in a new element so the night before the shoot we hit the local thrift stores. At the fourth store we found...
What a Wonderful Wedding — Revisited
The bottom line is that I&K are so very much in love. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity to try and capture the smallest peek into the depth of that emotion. Here are some of my favorites:
Love & Laughter in Abundance
Our engagement session with C&M was so much fun, they are so full of laughter and simple joy with each other that it was a delight to work with them. Usually I post a smattering of great portraits of my couples, but we got so many magical candid moments with this shoot that I just...
Gardens in New York — Revisited
One of our many talents is our ability to pull fantastic color…even when it’s a gray, rainy day. We are so glad that B&C were not afraid to run around in the rain and let us get creative in the gardens of the spectacular Sonnenberg Mansion.
Too much sunshine?
The R family met us over at the gorgeous Cathedral Park in St. Johns on Sunday afternoon for a fall colors and sunshine-filled portrait session. We actually had a problem of too much sun and had to get creative with the shade… Too much sun in the northwest?!
