One of our many talents is our ability to pull fantastic color…even when it’s a gray, rainy day. We are so glad that B&C were not afraid to run around in the rain and let us get creative in the gardens of the spectacular Sonnenberg Mansion.

Gardens in New York — Revisited
Too much sunshine?
The R family met us over at the gorgeous Cathedral Park in St. Johns on Sunday afternoon for a fall colors and sunshine-filled portrait session. We actually had a problem of too much sun and had to get creative with the shade… Too much sun in the northwest?!

These were the portraits that almost didn’t happen…add together a near-tragic workplace accident, a 16-month-old on the verge of complete meltdown, and a very narrow window of daylight with a great downtown location and a cute family and something interesting will come out of it

The top of the Hilton in downtown Portland was the scene of the sweet & tearful wedding of M&W. Their simple and elegant sense of style shone through in every gorgeous detail.

Engagement: Portland-Style
We spent a fun afternoon running around downtown Portland with M&W, trying to avoid the direct overhead sun and seeking out new textures and shapes to play with. Their downtown wedding is in a few weeks and we can’t wait to get to play again!
